I’m totally inspired… Just wait till I release my all-things-kale in the microwave series! Such a great idea. Thanks, M.G. I may just put your smiling face on the cover.

Even without the healthy micro-eating references (I’m SURE that’s what he meant), I enjoyed the interview. I’m curious about the autobiographical bits of Bayou Jesus. Seeing as it’s on my soon-to-read list, perhaps I’ll figure that out myself.

Regardless, thanks for the great interview. I wish you both a buffet table of success. 😉

It’s like you can read my mind, August. “Healthy-micro” is exactly what I meant. Exactly 🙂 Thanks for the good wishes. Hope you enjoy BJ!

3AM?? can you hear the screech in my voice? I admire people who can get up and make sense at that time, but I’m not one of them. bayou Jesus sounds like a good read. I’ll check for it.

Oh, Louise, 3 a.m. is where it’s at! With coffee. Lots and lots of coffee. Thanks for stopping by.

I’m a night owl so sometimes I am still writing at 3 a.m. but what I write at that hour usually goes in the recycle bin the next day. Your book is definitely on my TBR list now. Thanks for sharing a bit of yourself with us.

Great interview! I’m awed that you’re able to get yourself up that early. Loved Bayou Jesus.

Thanks, Madison! Don’t be too awed, though, it comes at a price: like falling asleep on the couch about 8:30.

I am lucky to not only be in the same critique group as M.G. Miller, but also to call him my friend. Both have enriched me. And Bayou Jesus was a “wow” book that I enjoyed as both a reader and a writer. Great interview!

Thanks, Jan! “Lucky” works both ways, as I feel the same about you and your work. In fact, it feels like family.

I tried getting up to write at 5 a.m., but I was too tired from having gone to bed at 3 a.m. after staying up too late writing. 🙂

Loved finding out more about you, Mike. Does this mean you’ve written another book about Simon Duchane that we can look forward to in the near future?

Whatever it takes, Debra, to get the writing done 🙂 And indeed, ‘Seven Devils’, which continues Simon’s story, should be out around Christmas. Spending most of my summer with the rewrite–and hopefully a trip to Alaska!

Okay, I am so totally late to the party! Please accept my apologies! Life happens and mine threw up! But I just wanted to come by even if the party’s over. And I love this line…”Don’t tell August McLaughlin, she’ll kill me.” And “healthy micro”. What’s that Mike? LOL! Congratulations with all the success with your book Mike! Great inquest, I mean interview Jennifer and please say “Hi!” to your guest! 🙂
