I cried a single tear for you.
Only one I let slide down my cheek.
For all the dead hope and meaningless dreams,
A small bit of pain from my soul did seep.
I’ll turn my back as you walk away,
So I don’t remember you leaving.
A part of me thought that you might stay,
But don’t condemn me for believing.
So I’ll walk my road not waiting for a call;
not once will I waiver nor will I look back.
Because that single tear was wiped away before it could fall,
And leave in my life just a small wet track.
