My pleasure, Jillian!
You’ve provided some great advice in your interview as well as in our WANA group. I’m lucky to be a part of such a great community of talented people!
Jillian, I enjoyed reading about your publishing journey and will remember what you said about the one-star reviews. What a great way to look at those!
I’m looking forward to reading your books. They’re on my TBR pile. I think this is my favorite part about today’s publishing scene. There is no longer a shortage of great books to read. I’ve read more books in the last two years than I read in the 10 years before that and it’s all because the variety to chose from is non-stop. 🙂
Sheila,
I thought Jillian’s take on the one-star reviews was awesome, too. I haven’t gotten to that point yet but when I do, I’ll be more prepared to handle it.
And you’re not the only one – I’ve read more books lately than I have in a long time. But I’m loving it!
I’ll be reading That Boy very soon!!
Thanks for stopping by!
I’ve only gotten one, thank goodness, but they do affect you. You wonder if that person just really was having a bad day or what. And never ever comment on a bad review, even when you are dying to. Even when you wonder if they even read your book because the stuff they says just makes no sense!!
You two did an awesome job on this interview! It really helps to know how other authors go through the process of self-publishing so we know what to expect. I loved the questions you posed to Jillian and how generous she was with her answers.
I’m still sick, but wanted to stop by. I know it’s been a while Jennifer. Please forgive me. I’ve been hit with a lot lately. Take care. You did a great job! 🙂
Great interview!! Love reading about an author’s journey. Jillian’s books are on my tbr list. 🙂
Thanks Jennifer.
Her books are on my TBR list too, Coleen! I’m glad you’re enjoying the interviews.
Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for having me on your blog today, and good luck with your writing!!
Jill
