Ah, there’s nothing better than the smell of baking something chocolate. Its my favorite aroma and its filling up my house right this minute. I’m baking brownies to take to a friend’s house for our Super Bowl Sunday get-together. So, this post is going to be short and sweet – just like my brownies!

This week was full of productivity for me. Three times this week I wrote over 2,000 words on my WIP. I was on a roll, lemme tell ya. The words felt like they were just falling from my mind  on to my screen. I love those days!

And because my muse was so cooperative, I was able to complete one of my goals for this round, which was to finish two more chapters on my WIP. I actually ended up writing three instead which puts me ahead of the game.  The outline is roughly completed as well, but I still have some tweaking to do so I’m not marking it off just yet.

I’ve been a little slack on my blogging lately. I need to work on that. But I have been reading other author blogs and trying to help promote them as well. I have to say, there are some really talented and interesting writers out there. I have so many blogs that I like to follow, and some days it is really tough to choose which ones I have time to read.

But I have found more time by being more efficient with my social media time. Thank you, Kristin Lamb, for all your helpful hints and great lessons! If you haven’t read Kristin’s books, We Are Not Alone—The Writer’s Guide to Social Media and Are You There, Blog? It’s Me, Writer, then I highly recommend doing so. My social media skills are improving as well as my time management in dealing with all the sites.

The best part about this week is that I was able to hook up with a critique partner, Laird Sapir. She is awesome. Not only is she a talented writer, she’s also a really fun person to work with as well. She’s already given me some great tips and helpful comments to improve my writing. Thus, today I am grateful for critique partners and all they do to help us!

So tell me about your week. Were you able to meet your ROW80 goals? Have you told your critique group or partners lately how grateful you are for their help?
