My pride has fallen to the ground,
Among the chains in which I’m bound.
Roaming your thoughts day and night,
Watching the secret war you fight.
Does it haunt you and break down the walls you’ve built,
By living a life of lies and guilt?
Is it like a dream from which you can’t awake?
It’s time to give, for there’s nothing left to take.
I’m a hollow shell of happy deceit,
Holding the truth which you can’t defeat.
One day you’ll look back at the life you’ve led,
Just to see it’s on my grave you’ve tread.
And you’ll run again and try to hide,
But my ghost will haunt you from inside.
